I joined Rostrum after starting a PhD in pharmacy at a Tasmanian University. 

My wife and I moved from Bangladesh two years ago with our daughter.

Practicing speeches, participating in debates, getting helpful feedback from other members from Rostrum are very effective in my personal development.

In less than 12 months, the improvement in my presentation skills in university activities has been noticed by my supervisors.

From Rostrum I have learnt how to be confident by organising the basic elements of a speech.  Another benefit is a new circle of people who have become friends.
